I’ve been at HuffPost for 13 years and currently serve as the site’s News Director. I co-created HuffPost’s global breaking news team, and helped design and launch an on-site liveblog tool that’s garnered millions of pageviews and increased users’ time spent on site. I previously served as managing editor of the breaking news team, and as a senior editor on the politics team.

I’ve contributed to the WVU Reed College of Media’s mentorship program and served nine years on the school’s visiting committee. I’ve also been a featured panelist during the WVU Festival of Ideas and a guest lecturer.

I am a coach with Digital Women Leaders advising on management, resume writing and collaboration across teams.

I’ve appeared on MSNBC, HLN, Fox News, the BBC, Sky News, HuffPost Live, and more. I gave a commencement address at the 2016 WVU Honors College Medallion Ceremony. I served as moderator for the West Virginia premiere of the film “King Coal.”
